Joe Zupan has been "radio active" for the majority of his adult life, working at public radio stations in Spokane, Detroit, and Worcester before moving to Virginia in 2005. Joe has been public radio-active since 1980, broken only by a four-year stint teaching in Southern California and two years as a Broadcast Advisor in the Peace Corps serving in the South Pacific Republic of Vanuatu. He made his return to WCUW in 2008.

The award-winning and critically acclaimed Williamson began his professional career in writing in 1988. As a freelance writer, Williamson has been featured in the Worcester Telegram, Worcester Monthly, North Shore Living, Artscope and Blues Wire. He lists Sonny Rollins, B.B. King, Laura Nyro and Waylon Jennings among his favorite interviews.
