John Voci has worked in all areas of public media including radio, TV and digital, since 1977.
He began his career in community radio at WCUW in Worcester, MA where he worked as a producer,
on-air host, Development Director, Program Director and concert producer.
He joined WGBH Radio in 1981 working in a variety of capacities in operations, programming and
general management over thirty-two years. He managed WGBH's expansion and development of three
broadcast services and six radio channels as well as the station's move to new facilities in 2007.
He's produced radio programs for National Public Radio, Public Radio International and WGBH;
television projects for WGBH's Basic Black; digital projects for a variety of WGBH initiatives and
was Technical Director for many of the station's pioneering digital broadcasts. He has a BA from
Clark University and a CSS in management from Harvard University. He is currently a certified
Project Management Professional working with clients in broadcast, digital media and construction.
