NEW! Byard at Chateauvallon
The JHDb thanks the legendary French photographer Thierry Trombert for this preview look at some of his coverage of Byard’s appearances at the summer 1973 Chateauvallon Festival.
Byard appears on piano and alto saxophone; soundcheck images also show his son, Gerald (who played drums with his father on this trip) violinist Stephane Grappelly, and drummer Daniel Humair.
