Legendary Jazz impresario Fred Taylor had been booking jazz performances in New England for several decades. He has obviously contributed greatly to the shaping of the Jazz Scene in New England.

From 1963 to 1978 Taylor booked his two most popular and historic Boston Jazz clubs, the Jazz Workshop and Paul’s Mall From 1991 to 2017 he booked Jazz acts into Scullers Jazz Club, Boston, and produced the Tanglewood Jazz Festival in Lenox, MA from 2001 to 2007.
